Testing the Parts

Today, the loom was supposed to finally be put together. On one of the last Eden Eve days, Ian and I spent around an hour attempting to put the parts of the loom on the base-plate. The Sunday before, in order to make the loom able to be easily stored, the base-plate was cut into three pieces which fit together. The top of the rail was hot glued to the sides, and everything was lined up and marked on the base-plate. Before gluing could begin, however, we realized that the moving wall was slightly too long and wouldn't fit on the base-plate. Everything else seemed to line up nicely. By next week, the piece will be cut, and hopefully everything can be screwed down.
